Final Liga Europa, Giroud: Ini Pertandingan Spesial

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud will face his former club Arsenal in the Europa League final. Giroud said that it would be a special match for him.

Giroud joined Chelsea in January 2018 after failing to get enough playing opportunities with the Gunners. Since moving to Stamford Bridge, he hasn't been a regular starter for the club.

However, the Frenchman has a pretty good record in Europe this season. Giroud is currently the top scorer in the European League with 10 goals, equal to Luka Jovic and two goals in front of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Giroud managed to deliver the Blues to redeem the Europa League final after getting rid of Frankfurt Eintrach. In the final, the Blues will meet neighbor Arsenal in Baku on 30 May

Barren opposite Frankfurt

Giroud appeared very sharply in the Europa League this season but failed to add a goal in the semi-final against Frankfurt. He claimed that was not his best appearance.

"It wasn't my best performance (against Frankfurt) but I always tried and gave everything to the team. I said as usual to show the coach that I was still ready, "he said.
